And even MORE video!!!

I know, still not what you’re looking for.  Be patient through the first part.  There is great Brandon and Anita footage if you make it through the first little bit.  Kurt says some awesome stuff about the film, too.

Nice video, I had seen it already. 🙂

  2. So Dan,
I hear there was a “Directors Cut” of the video shown at a “Super Secret Location”. Were you there? Im assuming it was more awesome than the CC one. Will it be possible to also see this eventually?
    thanks

Not sure who you heard that from, Jimmy, but your intel is correct. There was a screening this week of the first director’s cut of the film. It’s pretty normal for that to happen around this time just for the producers. Alas, I’m not one of those. It gives them a chance to see the director’s (for lack of a better word) storytelling vision of the piece and make comments about what works and what doesn’t. It’s sans effects, music, color correction, sound correction and such but it’s what Kevin sees the story as being. I didn’t see it but everyone who did were blown away by it.

  4. […] Production Blog have posted a video of Anita and Brandon at Comic-Con which you can view right here. It’s quite long but if you can make it through the first bit you’ll see Anita and her […]

Well maybe Jimmy heard it the same place I did. By way of BrianAltourian (President/COO of Platinum Studios) tweets on twitter.

Going to see Director’s Cut of #DeadofNight tomorrow morning at a double secret location

    Then

Director’s cut of Dead of Night was better than i anticipated! Holy Cow! Woot!

I’m glad the rough cut of the movie is getting such good vives from everyone. Wish it was still coming out to theaters this Halloween as originally expected, but I understand it takes time to do everything just right and that is what is really important since we all want this to be the first of several Dylan Dog adventures.

I just hope you can pass on the trailer soon. In the mean time thanks for keeping up informed.

  6. Vger,
You are 110 percent correct. Could not have said it better myself. We just need to pay attention to the little things that pop up. Awesome catch.

Dan, I would still be interested in seeing the rough cut, even minus everything. If it was THAT GOOD, can you imagine what it would be with music, special effects etc. As Brian said. Woot.

I’m dying to see it, too, Jimmy, but it’s pretty much exclusively for the producers to give their notes about the director’s edit of it. Not for us mere mortals.
